Teen Refused Abortion and Says Her Daughter Made Her Better

I was in my senior year of high school. I had just turned 18 and found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend was so scared, but I knew everything would be ok. When I found out I was pregnant, my life changed. I went to a special school just for pregnant and parenting teens. It was one of the best things for me to be with other teen moms and see that they were going through the same things. it was hard being so young and also becoming a parent at the same time. I had to go an extra half a year of school because my credits were screwed up. After all, they were different from my high school. But i was able to bring my daughter to school with me and it helped out a lot. I graduated high school and walked with my daughter in my arms it was a big moment for me i never thought i would be walking at my graduation.

Her dad stayed with me, and we are now engaged. I am now 21 years old, and my daughter is 2 1/2 years old. She changed me for the better. If it was not for her, I would not be where I am today. I am in college, going to become a medical Assistant. She is the most wonderful baby in the world, and I would never change it for anything.
