Aborted Baby Body Parts Found In Freezers
Philadelphia Chief Medical Examiner Sam Gulino described fetal body parts stored in pet food containers during his testimony at Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s trial for killing seven babies and a female patient at his West Philadelphia abortion clinic.
“It was the first time I had to deal with fetuses that were frozen and that I had to thaw out,” Gulino testified about the contents of pet food containers containing fetal remains from the Women’s Medical Society abortion clinic.
Some containers he received held only feet and others held different body parts.
Gulino advised the jury that he found three of the fetuses he checked may have been viable. Viability is the point at which the baby can live independently outside the mother’s womb.
The grand jury probe of Gosnell’s clinic concluded that “The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels, and on at least two occasions caused their deaths.”
