Actor Kevin Sorbo Speaks Out on Abortion
Actor Kevin Sorbo, who came to fame in the television series Hercules and Andromeda, is starring in the just-released film God’s Not Dead. In it, he plays an atheist professor who wants all his students to commit to saying that God is dead. In real life, however, Sorbo is far from this. He is a devout Christian who is unafraid to speak his mind about his faith and beliefs.
This month Sorbo and his wife, Sam, got behind the making of a film that Hollywood chooses to ignore. The film is about Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who Sorbo describes as America’s most prolific serial killer. Sorbo states:
For more than three decades he was an abortion doctor in Philadelphia, where
he delivered live, viable babies, who cried and fought for their lives before he
murdered them by severing their spinal cords with a scissors. He called it
snipping. It’s the crime of the century, but most of the media and Hollywood
have ignored the story.
Gosnell was sentenced last year to life in prison without the possibility of parole for first-degree murders of these babies. Although Hollywood loves serial killer movies, this one has been swept under the rug by Hollywood producers.
Consequently, the Sorbo’s have committed to a crowd-funding campaign to raise the $2 million necessary to produce this film and have just completed a 4-minute video encouraging donations to raise the necessary funding without the help of the Hollywood elite.
